Join the Youth Jury for the European Emerging Bands Contest 2025!

Are you passionate about discovering new music and upcoming talents? Do you want to be part of an exciting European cultural event? Then this is your chance! The European Emerging Bands Contest (EEBC) 2025 is looking for young, music-loving individuals to join its Youth Jury.

What is the EEBC? 

The EEBC is a unique competition that brings together Europe’s most promising emerging bands, offering them an international stage at the European Youth Event (#EYE2025). Held in Strasbourg, France, on June 13-14, 2025, EYE2025 is one of the largest gatherings of young Europeans, aiming to foster dialogue, exchange ideas, and celebrate culture and creativity.

To serve this dynamic audience, the European Parliament and the European Youth Forum have partnered with JM International (JMI) to identify and support Europe’s most exciting new musical acts, providing them with a platform to showcase their talent.

The Youth Jury: A Unique Opportunity 

JMI is inviting young music enthusiasts (aged 16-30) from across Europe to be part of the EEBC 2025 Youth Jury. This jury will play a crucial role in selecting the bands that will perform at EYE2025. It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop your critical artistic eye, gain insights into music evaluation, and help shape the European music scene.

What Does the Youth Jury Do? 

Selected jury members will:

• Receive a shortlist of up to 30 bands by April 17, 2025.

• Cast their votes online (via mubazar.com) by April 24, 2025.

• Participate in a digital jury session on April 24, where they will discuss and select 6 to 8 winning acts.

One lucky jury member will be randomly drawn on April 24, 2025, and will win a trip to Strasbourg to attend EYE2025 and the EEBC concerts live! JMI will cover travel costs (up to €250 reimbursement), accommodation, and subsistence from June 12 to June 15, 2025.

Eligibility & Requirements To be part of the EEBC Youth Jury, you must:

• Be between 16 and 30 years old and based in Europe (all nationalities welcome!).

• Have a passion for music and an interest in discovering emerging talents.

• Be able to attend all scheduled jury sessions and fairly evaluate the performances.

• Represent the jury professionally in any media appearances and at EYE2025 (if applicable).

Note: If you are applying as a musician or band for the EEBC 2025, you cannot be part of the Youth Jury.
